Where are you from?
I’m originally from Birmingham, a city in the middle of England, but I lived in Southampton for three years (on the south coast) and then I spent two years in London.
What’s your favourite Spanish food?
There are lots of Spanish foods that I like, and I love buying local produce from Navarra. I am a big fan of pintxos – especially those with txistorra or goat’s cheese!
What do you miss most about your home?
Although I like Spanish cuisine, I miss the variety of authentic international foods you can get in London. When I’m in the UK I love eating Indian, Turkish and Chinese meals.
Do you play a musical instrument?
I played the violin for five years when I was at primary school but I was awful! I have always wanted to play the piano and would like to have some lessons one day.
What do you like about Pamplona?
I love that everything is within walking distance in Pamplona. Also, the people here are so friendly and welcoming.
Do you have any hobbies?
I have always loved reading and cooking. Now I live in Pamplona I want to get involved with some hiking, as there are so many opportunities to get outdoors here!
What’s your favourite book?
This is a difficult question, but I would have to say my favourite book is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I studied it when I was at secondary school and it’s been a firm favourite ever since.
