1. Where are you from?
I’m from Davis, California. It is located in Northern California, about 20 minutes west of the capitol, Sacramento, and an hour east of San Francisco.
2. What do you miss most about your home?
I miss my friends, family and the abundance of good live music!
3. Do you have any hobbies?
I am a musician and play keyboards, guitar, percussion and saxophone. I also enjoy woodworking, painting and making collages.
4. What’s your favourite Spanish food?My wife is from Galicia, and I am quite fond of Galician food. Whenever we are there we make sure to eat chipirones encebollados con pimiento and french fries at a furancho.
5. What do you like about living in Pamplona?
It’s a very comfortable and liveable city, full of parks, public spaces and community activities, making it a great place to raise a family. Also, while it may seem like a small thing, the public transportation is incredible, and having grown up in California, where public transportation is a disaster, I do not take for granted this basic public service.
6. What’s your favourite book?
My favourite book is Trout Fishing in America by Richard Brautigan. Just to be clear, it isn´t actually about trout fishing.
7. What was your favourite film when you were a kid?
My favourite film when I was a kid was Ghostbusters. We had a copy on VHS recorded off of TV, probably from before I was born. I wore that tape out from watching it so much.
