What do you miss most about your home? 

Roast dinners and my family.

What’s your favourite Spanish food?

I love the food here, although being veggie it can be a little bit difficult at times. I’ve eaten a ridiculous amount of tortillas since I arrived!

What do you like doing in your free time?

I have a love/hate relationship with running, but I try to go for a run a couple of times a week, especially as there are so many nice places to run outside here.

What’s your favourite book?

It’s a bit of a marmite choice but I loved A Little Life when I first read it a few years ago, by Hanya Yanagihara. Everyone I know who’s read it either really loved it or hated it! I also love Colson Whitehead’s books, and David Sedaris if you want something funny.

What was your favourite film when you were a kid?

All of the Harry Potter films. They’re still probably my favourite films now to be fair.
