Where are you from?

I was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland to an Irish mother and Scottish father, I lived some of my childhood in Dublin, Ireland and have dual nationality Scots/(UK)/Irish.

What do you miss most about your home?

It goes without saying miss my dad and friends most of all however, I also miss the food, we have such a diverse culture so have a great variety of food from all over the world, which is nice but, I would say I miss fish, chips, mushy peas and a roast dinner most of all!

What’s your favourite Spanish food?

My favourite spanish foods are cochinillo and rodaballo, I could list so much more, it’s all so good.

What’s your favourite English word?

My favourite English word is `porcrastinate`mainly as I find this is something I seem to do a lot, much to my own annoyance!

What’s your favourite music?

I have very eclectic taste in music, everything from The Rolling Stones to Rachmaninoff. My spotify playlist is like a lucky bag, I never know which genre is coming next.

What is your favourite football team? Why?

I am not a huge football fan, I much prefer rugby and support Scotland.

What’s your favourite book?

I have two favourite books one is the play `Juno and the Paycock` by Sean O´Casey and the other is `Dracula` by Bram Stoker, both from Ireland I read both of these books in school as a teenager having just moved to Scotland from Ireland and being desperately homesick so I was naturally drawn to books by Irish authors/playwrights and these two have stuck with me, the former being very evocative despite taking place some 70 years before.

What’s your favourite quote?

My favourite quote is `What`s for you, won’t go by you` meaning if something is meant to be then it will come your way
